Dogs Welcome — Pet Friendly Hotel in Vernal
Traveling with your dog? Best Western Vernal Inn welcomes pets — with ground-floor rooms for easy access, nearby trails and parks, and a location that puts you minutes from Red Fleet State Park, Dinosaur National Monument, and the Ashley National Forest backcountry.
We keep our pet policy simple. Dogs are welcome. A small pet fee applies per stay. Ground-floor rooms are available for easy outdoor access. There's open space around the property for walks and bathroom breaks. And because Vernal sits at the gateway to millions of acres of public land, your dog has more room to run here than just about anywhere in Utah.
Vernal is an outdoor town, and most of the public lands surrounding it are dog-friendly. Dogs on leash are welcome at Red Fleet State Park (12 miles north), on BLM lands throughout the Uintah Basin, and on most Ashley National Forest trails. Dinosaur National Monument has limited pet access — dogs are allowed in campgrounds and on paved areas but not on backcountry trails.
Pet Owner Tip: If you're visiting Red Fleet or Ashley National Forest with your dog, book a ground-floor kitchenette room. You'll have easy in-and-out access, space to prep dog food, and a fridge to store treats and water bottles.
